Since I got my new clutch I noticed when launching I get wheel hop bad enough that its making my tranny bang against the floor board! It only happens sometimes but when it does its bad. Hard shifts between 1-2 make the same thing happen. 1 "thunk" against the floorboard. Any thoughts or recommendations?

If things are slamming against the floorboards, there's a good chance you broke the tranny mount.

If its an issue of "wheel hop", you might want to "search" in the "Suspension...." forum, since this topic gets discussed there frequently.

 

Fred, I actually did search for "wheel hop" but I didnt find anything about the tranny problem I am having. Therefor I felt a new post was warranted. No biggie, Thanks guys!

Many appologies! That wheel hop post isnt mine there. It also doesnt have anything to do with a "thud" from the tranny. Anyway, can you move it to the suspension forum? Sorry again.
