knock modual. it is a modual that is less sensitive than the lt1 model. it is used when the pcm is picking up false knock and retarding the engine.

knock module
I just changed my cam with the LT4. Do I need the LT-4 knock module? and how much are they?

its not a must that you change, you might want to go see someone with a scanner and see if you are getting a lot of know retard. they cost about 50$ depending on where you go and install in about 15 min.
