you need to be a bit more specific on this...are you doing heads at the same time? What heads? What are your goals for the car? Do you need to worry about emissions? Define too much lope, as that is based on opinion...you would probably do well to call the guys at combinatin motorsports (www.cmotorsports.com) for a cam reccomendation.

We need to really know what your goals are with the car. If you are gonna do bolt ons, and you want a good cam with not much lope, something like the cc305 on a 114 lsa, or the comp cams 218/224 I think that is what it is anyway. But like he said, you need to call somwhere like that and get a reccomendation for what your goals are with the car....

low durration, lots of overlap.

... i think IVO timing and such might be too "advanced" for this thread. if you are intrested, no need for me to restate what Rich Krause says so well.

yes to all of the above. Lift is a freebee as far as driveability goes. It is NOT a freebee on the valvetrain. it WILL put more strain on your valvetrain. Use the correct compononests and dont overdo it an you wont have a problem.

I'm pushing .608 lift and not all that concerned. The again my lifters valvesprings and pushrods cost me over $600 alone

My vote for the cc305

Short clip of my stock 9c1 with just a CC305

I'll get a better clip soon

Do a search on the 847 Cam. Read through, see the results. Order from jason to save lots of cash.
