Whats the difference in the RR Studs
Re: Whats the difference in the RR Studs
What did it say? It might have to do with the material it is made out of. Might be a stronger metal. But then again it could be the exact same metal and they could be adding the "pro".
Re: Whats the difference in the RR Studs
from their description on Jegs: Exact length ARP rocker arm studs are straight and true to provide positive seating. 170,000 psi tensile strength (High Performance),190,000 psi (Pro-series). Not to be used with OEM-style self-locking nuts.
so the pro series are a little stronger, by about 20,000 lbs on tensile strength.

Re: Whats the difference in the RR Studs
I don't know what difference in price Thunder has them for but for me the $10 price difference, there is a lot to be gained for that amount of money. The stud setup is already a weak link, a ARP Pro Series 7/16 stud just makes sense and I always recomend that over going another weaker route.

Re: Whats the difference in the RR Studs
I have brand new 3/8 pro mags so I will have to get the 3/8 stud because I dont want to sell my promags and loose money on those since they are brand new. But you recommend running the 3/8 pro series? Theres nothing specials needed to run those?
