Someone forgot to read NOTICE: What this forum is for, and what it is NOT for. PLEASE READ!.

Secondly, a little more info needed. M6? A4? Depending, maybe a set of drag radials would help? A stall converter? (if A4) Heads. Cam. Nitrous. You name it, it'll help.

**I predict**

Honestly… by learning to drive…

I’ve run a 13.03@106.99 in my ’97 WS6 TA with 4.10 gears, a boxed stock PHR, 1.6 rr’s, limiter moved to 6400, and a K&N air filter.

Really, probably could have done the same without the gears (made launching easier but I didn’t run any faster). Stiffening the panhard rod made the 1-2 shift (M6) significantly better. Before that the car would jump sideways on a hard shift, after that it kept straight my et improved roughly .25 seconds (only change between track outings, weather the second time out was worse, 15* warmer and lower .32 lower barometric pressure)

Your Z is significantly lighter then my fully optioned TA (the night that I ran that the car + me weighed at over 4100#, it had probably ¾ tank of gas in it and I’m well over 300# and I had about 45# worth of work stuff in the car that didn’t need to be there). I’d be that your race weight would be around 3700# without anything extra in it, and if you could get your 60’ below 1.7 you should run easy 12’s.

Hum… I wouldn’t be surprised if the 80 series flowmaster isn’t hurting you… the stock mufflers flow surprisingly well for something so quiet (I’ve used stock 4th gen exhausts on cars running as fast as high 11’s), while the 80 series is pretty much known for not doing anything but making noise.
