Well yes and no. You can use the increase fuel pressure to change things depending on what the computer is doing already. You can also crank up the pressure and make your injectors act bigger than what they really are.

I use my Weldon AFPR to keep the fuel pressure at 58psi, and help my 64# Bosch injectors supply 74#/HR and keep the duty cycle below 70% at 800HP.

Cheater.

I can't wait to see how mine works out on the truck. Nothing like an S10 with a fuel line bigger than your thumb.

by the way, i have the accel, and it works fine....if anyone can tell me what the letters and numbers on the top of it mean, it would be appreciated.
Mostly ignorance a FEW like Injuneer know what they are doing and how to use one and when it is useful but most don't and think it is a tuning aid on a mild car . Spending $100+ on an AFR that might get you temporary gains is a wonderful idea compared to tuning for $60 with more and permanent gains right

Not on a OBD-II car it isn't.

Not even on an OBD1 car at least not the 94-5s, I have not paid much attention to the speed density 93s but still I have to say that programming would be a better option there.

I admit there can be some WOT gains but they will be temporary because you just made part throttle lean the O2s will see this and the pcm will correct it then your part throotle tuning is off and the pcm is having to constantly correct for it. Come tuning time you also added another variable to complicate the tuning work.

Re: Whats the absoloute best adjustable fuel pressure regulator

Like I said they can fix WOT AFRs which will result in a power gain but it is temporary because you cut fueling across the board and the O2s/pcm see that and brings fueling back up via pulse widths, so yes it can give gains but they do not last and your part throttle tuning gets screwed up. PCM work costs less, adjusts the fueling to be right at all points, is permanent, plus can adjust timing and tranny stuff for more power yet and drivability, in an A4 optomized shift points make the car faster too again in the pcm.

So I am not saying people didn't pick up 15-20 just saying this is not permanent and that pcm tuning is unquestionably the better way to get those and more gains

I have the Holley one.
I say it's only worth it if you're pushing the duty cycle on your injectors or if your stocker broke (which was my case).

I have the holley billet one as well.
Its set at stock fuel pressure right now but I will be needing it in the future and my stock one went bad as well so I upgraded for the future.
