I was told here not too long ago by a pretty respectable member on here that the scat9000 wasn't all that bad of a crank. Are there better choices, sure. But there is AWAYS a better choice, it just depends on who you are talking to. The only issue I see that I would correct before the install if it were my engine, is the oil pump. But that is also 6 of one and half dozen of the other on those beliefs.
Oh, and one more thing, sometimes it appears that Dwayne has a bit of sarcasm or lack of subtleness, but trust me when I say this Guy knows what he's talking about. He has done an awful lot with very little, and has done plenty of research.

Agree 100%, always something better! If not today, will be tomorrow! I will see what I can do about oil pump, and thanks for the input. I'm sure Dwayne is a great guy and knows his stuff. Believe me, I'm not too upset at all about what's on this thread. I know people have their opinions, I read about them on Crackberry all the time! Talk about trash talking, about phones!

True. One thing to remember is this forum (just like others) is full of very good information and very knowledgeable people. It just sux that we have to put up with the trolls at the same time.

Yeah, well said. Damn them trolls! Was a while since I've been on here, Google search always seems to bring me here during my searches. Non the less, I know CZ28 is full of good info. Thanks again bro.

Re: What are your thoughts on this setup?

It has been a long time since I've been on this forum, guess I'll update this old thread. Last numbers with this setup was 423rwhp and 395rwtq and still had some additional mail order tuning work to be done by Bryan at PCM4LESS, hopefully will get to it in the next few months. Not bad numbers going thru a 12bolt and stock LT1 castings flowing around 268/201 last I remember. Fun to drive, the NANO Comp kit and TNT F2 kit hasn't been used yet.
