What type of plugs??

What type of plugs??

I put in AC Delco platinum plugs ran great for when I took off. Punched it in first hit almost 6k and started to miss again. I dont know what to to maybe I am gapping them way to wide I did them at .050. What should I use?(1995 LT1 with full exhaust)

ok...this may sound stupid...but are you hitting the rev limiter? you mentioned 6K...that's about where it should be on a stock car (with the oh-so-accurate tach)

other than that i'd look into the coil, coil wire or the fuel system not supplying enough go-juice

I know that but after hitting it once it will not even go to like 5 and stumble really really bad until I change plugs again.

recheck all the wires and plugs, see if you can find a bad plug...could have been a faulty plug? (taking wild stabes here).

just so i am reading this right:
you changed plugs, started fine, drove fine to begin with. punched it once. started to miss up top...now it won't run very well above 5K...

i'm thinkin you may have broke or burned somehting...
