Anyone ever try these on our LT1's? Im searching through the Summit magazine and they have three or four different glass pack muffler's like "Thrush", "Patriot", that you could insert just behind the cat on our single cat LT1 car's and take off the muffler. The glass packs run around $20 - $40, which is much cheaper then the Loudmouth or even a dynomax Bullet muffler install. Anyone ever done this?

If so, how does it sound?

I have just about all the exhaust's one could think of. I have the 21" glass packs on the car behind dynomax bullets. this was b/c local law enforcement harrassed me enough to do something to satisfy them.
At idle it is pretty swift, on the gas some it is cool. at WOT it is loud and sounds very glass packy and it pops some.
Just depends on what your goals are...
