as soon as i get out of school for the summer im gonna do a complete refreshing /tune up kinda thing to my z, and one of the areas i was focusing on is the trans (A4). im gonna put a transgo in along with a b&m supercooler transcooler, but what fluid should i use, or does it matter?

 

i would think dex 3 ...see what it says on the dip stick

 

oh i meant like a particular brand or something, like b&m trick shift or something? (gm uses dexron -III mercon)

 

Mobil 1 now has a Tranny fluid, it's a Dex 3, and it will work well in the tranny.

 

Redline ATF gets my recommendation. Honda ATF is also good.

 

honda ATF???from WHERE...i think ill go with the mobil 1 synthetic seeing as how thats what im running in the motor (mobil 1 10w30), thanx alot guys

 

Ditto, Mobil 1 ATF for sure.......

I also use a product called Energy Release in my engine and trans. It is great stuff!
