locking or not locking (axel) that is the question.....

Do we have locking or non locking axels in our Z's?

We have limited slip differentials.

a locking axle referes to a differential that physically lock together, like a spool or detroit locker. Our cars come with Limited Slip, basically using clutches to keep the axles turning together, but it doesn't actually lock.

well, the reason that I ask is because on gmpartsdirect.com it has a listing for locking or non locking axel, which do I choose?

Not sure, but they might be refering to the C-clips that hold the axle in.

GM PART # 26063146 should be the axle you want for a non traction control (TCS) car.
