What are these things? (Pictures)

Obviously, the pictures say it all... what are they, and why are they in the condition that they are? Incase you're wondering, the first are of a module (looks like relays) under the glovebox panel... not sure why certain wires are spliced together and some are just left hanging. Any input? Also, that vacuum line is coming out of the fuel line bundle and is supposed to connect just below the throttle body, but there's no suction in the line with the car running... so I don't know what the purpose is. Someone enlighten me!

I believe the vacuum line is to the fuel tank canister filter, and would normally attach to the canister purge valve solenoid on the passenger side of the intake. (yours looks like someone broke it just underneath the throttle body and tried to repair it)

Not sure about the relays, maybe part of an after market car alarm?

Spot on, those relays are not stock.

Your intake hose is not all the way on your throttlebody, you need to correct that.

You sure that car is not a 93...is that a "TV" cable I see on the throttlebody?

I thought those were only on 93 models?

Thanks for the info guys, will it hurt anything with that vacuum line broken like that? Also, I'm pretty sure it's a 94, what 'tv cable' are you referring to? And those relays, I guess I'll trace them and figure out what it was for.

That's a '94 fuel rail. In '93 the quick disconnects were located right next to cylinder 1 & 3 fuel injectors. Unless GM changed fuel rails mid year in 1993...that is not a '93. My throttle cables use to look identical to that, until I deleted cruise...

Will it hurt anything? thats a vent line to the gas tank, personally I'd want to take care of that and buy a new plastic line (shouldn't be that expensive) or clean up and splice the existing one together..

I guess you could also just cap it, but why not get the emission equipment working. Do you have tough inspections in AZ?
