my edelbrocks came with a nice Y pipe, I think most sets of shortys do. They are somewhat of a bitch to install, but worth it I think.

Do you primarily use the car for street driving or does it see a lot of track duty? If it doesn't see much track duty, I would do the headers first and then the stall if you decide to throw a bigger cam in it.
1. headers
2. gears/tires
3. cam/stall or heads/cam/stall
4. rear end and suspension.
Or you could do it in this order: #4->#2->#1->#3. That way you will hook(which is about the most important thing) and not worry about grenading the rear, then go faster.

I take the car out to the track a few times a year.Sets in the garage the most.So I would say its mostly street driven,But I'm afraid of breaking a bolt off in the head that is why I havent done the headers yet.Is there a way that is easier to change them so that I dont have to worrie about that,And not having a cat on the car now would putting headers and a cat back on really be much diffrent than it is now.

If you are a auto i would go with the stall converter.

My car is an auto.Everyone talks about stall converters. How much does that help in performance and how hard are they to install.

Re: What Sould Be The Next Mod On List

I had Jet-Hot LTs and Flowmasters installed (no cats). Then had a Superchips custom tune. I can hang with 6spd LS1's and I still have the original 2.73s!

I suggest headers/exhaust and a tune as the next step.

By the way... the LTs with Flowmasters sound great!
