what should my oil pressure be? (385 LE2)

just got my LE2 setup going in my 385 and wondering what normal oil pressure should be...seems a little low to be but not sure. after the car is totally good and warm, it will read just a hair below the 20 line at idle in drive....at normal road speed, it's anywhere from 20 - 40, but doesn't really go much above 40 even with the rpm's up after it's good and warm.

thanks!

What oil pump/pan is in it? Idle pressure does not sound bad.

Many people warn against running an HV pump with a stock pan. There are threads all over this board about it. It may not be sucking your pan dry at low RPMs, but sometimes cavitation can be an issue. Some like to chamfer the oil intake hole in the rear main cap to decrease chances of cavitation.
