What rotating assembly do you guys think is good?
Hey guys. For an LT1, what rotating assembly do you think would be good enough for a 6800 RPM 383 motor? I was thinking scat cast crank, H-beam rods 6", SRP or Probe forged pistons.
But others tell me that Eagle or Manaley make a complete rotating assembly, that is balanced, etc, etc. Any recommendations would be great!

Don't buy individual components, buy an assembly offered by a reputable retailer. Both Jegs and Summit offer them. Be sure they are balanced. Oh and don't kid yourself and think your going to get individual pieces internally balanced. It's a MFer to get them internally balanced and about 25% can't be done. The best advice anyone can give you is for you to call Nu-tek. They eat sleep and S@#$ LT1's. Don't listen to one suggestion until you talk to them and maybe a company like TPIS. They do a lot of LT1's also. After you talk to them then start looking for parts. BTW consider a short block or crate engine from someone like Golen.
Trust me I did it the hard way and the long way. Spent a lot of bucks and time to do something that could have been done cheaper and faster with the same results. I keep trying to convince myself I'm a more rounded person because of it. LOL what a bunch of BS
Just FYI I got a Scat 4340 forged crank, 6" Oliver Billet rods and JE pistons. I also 4 bolted the crank.
