What rockers will clear head studs?

I just noticed that the wide-body rockers I have are hitting the center row of head studs. There generic non-centerbolt-style, non-self aligning Summit cheapo rockers.

I take it I need a more narrow body rocker. So people running head studs, what rockers do you have?

Maybe just any narrow-body rockers will work? I need them to clear 1.55" springs.

Re: What rockers will clear head studs?

Crane Cams Gold Race rockers are specifically designed for centerbolt valve covers. They come in 1.5 and 1.6 ratios both self-aligning and non self-aligning. At www.summitracing.com they list for $319.95 or at www.jegs.com for 309.99. According to Jeg's, these are the only aluminum rockers available for GM self-aligning applications. And they are supposedly the same rockers used in the LT4 (again according to Jeg's).

Not sure if this will apply to your rockers or not but you may be able to modify the valve covers like you do when installing CC pro mag 1.6's. Here is a guide to modifying the stock valve covers:

http://www.hotss.com/Members/scott_vaca/pro-mag.htm

You can always try this to see if it works. It will not hurt the valve covers.
