My Napa 7mm plug wires are only a couple months old but shooting sparks at boot where they connect to the plug. How could that happen?

 

Could either be a crack plug, or crack boot on the wire it self. Pull the wire and inspect the boot area for split's. Since you had the wire's for a couple of months they should be under warranty.

I've been using the Accel Extreme 9000 wires...haven't had any problems with them whatsoever. I'm on my second set (my longtubes ruined a few wires in the first set), but they're holding up nicely since I rerouted them. I'd also recommend sleeving your wires with some Spectra Firebraid or something similar to keep the wires intact if they get a little too close to your headers or manifolds.
