What is Max Valve Lift on Stock Heads?

Just want to know. Then I can go to the guy who did my heads and see how much he shaved when he cut my spring seats. Also currently have 1.6 rockers.

Is there a way to determine what lift is available in my springs? I am all set up for a cam without the cam and I am getting itchy!

The max lift cannot exceed the distance between the bottom of the retainer and the top of the valve seal. Also, the lift should not exceed the coil bind height of the spring plus ~0.060". If you don't have the spring specs, you can compress them and measure the height.
