does anybody know what the le2 cam is? or atleast what the specs of it are?

 

It's a custom cam sold by Lloyd Elliott, designed formerly by Joe Overton (username Joes94TA on this board) and now by Bret Bauer. (username SStrokerAce)
Since it's a custom cam, the specs are not publicly available.

 

do you know if lloyd sells the cams seperate, or if you can only get it with the h/c package?

 

No he does not. I just asked. And he said no.
His packagages are worth the money Though. tHAT IS THE ONLY WAY YPU CAN GET A CAM THROUGH HIM. Sorry about the caps. I am to slow to go back and fix. But my car wont be. Email him and see what he well say on a compleate setup. That is the best way to find out.

 

I don't know the specs off hand but I have talked to Lloyd and he said it is very similar to the cc306. He said it just hits a little harder.

 

I've done some reading about these LE2 package as a freind of mine with an LT1 is looking to get it. I think it's an amazing deal. I wanna get that if I ever get extra money for a side project mild lt1

 

alright well i guess my next question is what would be a cam that is similar to his custom if not bigger?

 

CC306 and GM847 would probably be similar to the LE2 cam.

or you could go to bret, who designs the LE2 cams, and talk to him about a custom cam.

 

Ive been looking into the LE2 package for a while, and also have been reading about what other experience are, and it really is all it cracks up to be! i have a Video of LE2 idle and Dyno run if you are interested... E-mail me, or use AIM, contact info is in profile.

 

what is the le2 cam?

the le2 cam is an abomination of nature. it clouds the skys with smoke and causes the earth to shake. it is said that if spun at high velocities the le2 cam will create a strange gravitation forces that will rip the corners of your mouth back into a smile. whenever i am out i always beware of the le2 cam, you never know when it could strike and leave you sobbing at a stoplight with peepee trickling down your leg.

Ever heard of Bret Bauer? I am pretty sure he makes cams for Lloyd's H/C packages. His name on here is SStrokerAce. He is the camshaft voodoo doctor.
