What kind of setup for low rpm torque?
I quite resent that. I am the only one that actually gave hard data that is based on my experience. Everyone else said "do this and you can get this". I did not. I gave hard numbers that are repeatable to the person who asked.
Remember, he focused on the cam selection not I. If incomplete data you are suggesting, I would agree but not mediocre.

2.56s and easily 4300+lbs with driver are a bad combo. Like I said I did a 208/221 cam with 2.93 gears. The 2.56s will make a stall drive poorly, like I said I did a 2800 with 2.93s.
I have been down this road, made basically the same mistakes you are looking too and am here saying I did things wrong and am trying to help you spend your money more wisely than I did myown. If that is not good enough then I guess I can not be of any help.
Many of the catbacks are 2.5" mandrel, the Dynomax being one of them.
Header selection is actually somewhat limited as far as perfect boltin stuff, have to figure the roady is riding the Impala coattails and the Impala was just 3 years with the LT1. There are some second gen Camaro headers guys have made work but for headers that really fit well you are looking at 14 guage tubing, 3/8" flange hand built headers that are very nice but not cheap. I have over $1000 in mine stainless, coated without cats.
