What kind of gains can be expected from Mac headers on a basically stock car? HP and track times.

I would say 20rwhp. Most people claim with headers they get 2-3 tenths off their quarter.

 

anyone else run these headers?

 

I do, but I just put them on so I don't have any 'scientific' proof of what gains they've done for me. However, I do feel a large difference, and I went with MAC Headers because of all the positive feedback on this board about them!

I run these and I love them....I don't have any times to compare,but I really noticed them on the low end....

 

I gained 3 MPH and about .2 tenths.

 

12-15 hp w/ shorties...say a good 2-3 tenths gain

 

Are they're any 1 3/4" primary MAC's running around? I heard they stopped making those and now only do 1 5/8" primaries except for the LS1's.

Any truth to that? I'm looking into getting a set of these.

 

im pretty certain theyre all 1 5/8" for lt1 cars. the slps are 1 3/4", among others.
