I am looking into buying a fuel pump. Is an in line pump better that getting an in tank unit? If i have to, I will cut an access hole, so that is no problem.

I am making 400 rw and the stock pump is not going to last long i do not think. So replacing it might be the best way to go. What are some recommendations on in-tank or in-line fuel pumps?

Your best bet is to run an Intank fuel pump. I would recommend going with a Walbro 255 lph.
