what exactly to you have to run conventional heads on a lt1

thanks for any input on this theres a company thatll do it for 500 but if i can do my self i would rather

Weld up some of the coolant holes in the head and drill some new ones. Find a manifold with the correct bolt pattern and angles, or have your stock LT1 manifold modified, adding the nipples for the coolant flow as well.

Generally, if it has "LT1" in the topic, and its about an engine related problem, it should be posted on "LT1/LT4 Engine Tech", not on "Advanced Tech".

Moving to "LT1/LT4 .........."
