^ Agreed, until you ride in a stalled auto. This will change your mind a little bit I think. I road in a car before/after being stalled, and it was a night and day difference coming off the line. His car felt WAYYYYY stronger then it did with the stock converter.

I have no doubt there are people ot there running bottom 12's with minimal mods, none at all. With that said, here's my take.......

It sounds like the car in question from the original post is an average car, with a couple of mods, just like the cars most of have or had. What were all of us running after slapping on a CAI and a cat-back? I know I was running high 13's, as I think most of you were or are. I think this thread got a little offtopic talking about all of the cars that do in fact run that quick. However, I don't think the guy in the original post has anything more than a stock car with a couple of mods, and no concept of how quick 12.2's really feel or the kind of launch it takes to run that time with minimal mods.

Cliff notes: Average guy with a Z with a couple of mods is NOT running 12.2's, but some guys on this board are.

I said it on the first page and I'll say it again. Ask him his 60 foot. If it's 1.5'ish then it's possible.
