Re: What do you think of these flow numbers
My TEA ported LT4's didnt even flow that much!! They had to use a pipe and then exaggerate the numbers even more on top of that. LT1 castings cannot flow that much without SERIOUS modifications that nobody on this earth is willing to pay for. I wouldn't trust em. If you do buy them, get them flowed again after you buy them so you know what they really flow.

Re: What do you think of these flow numbers
Look for a coolant passage on the back side of the heads. That side is parallel with the rock arms. If there is no coolant passages then they are not LT1/LT4 heads.

Re: What do you think of these flow numbers
You need to IMMEDIATELY take those heads to the nearest CNC shop, and have the runner copied. Then start duplicating them on all the stock/virgin LT1 castings you can possibly find. You will be able to sell them for at least $3,000 a set. They are flowing close to the custom made Canfields that George Baxter used on his 1,125HP 30th SS convertible.... 3,900# running 9.04@155mph.

Are you talking about this guy?

Those definitely are stock castings, and I can't see any welding or other major work that would get them to 310+ / 230+ like he claims. I know that I won't be doing business with 'VPE' after seeing outragous claims like that.

Re: What do you think of these flow numbers
Look at their 'flowchart' ... looks like it was copied right from AFR:

Re: What do you think of these flow numbers
Hahahahaha. Thats nice, I wish that was possible, but not on a stock LT1 casting. Look at the bowl, there isn't enough work there for 260cfm. LOL
It even says 28" on the flow sheet.
