I have some, I like them. If there cheap and all. I got BBK offroad pipe going to 3 inch and it did help it out a good bit. As soon as the headers were installed, you could gas on it and get it to kick sideways a good big easier. NO thats not a dyno run, but you can tell, you put them on there....

Good luck

Check those headers carefully when you get them - I had serious issues with them and sent them back, only to find their customer service sucked too.

Haha, the ONE thing I do remember about te BBK headers is comparing the welds on them to a Huffy bicycle frame. Very sloppy.

Yeah ... I think you should save yourself the time of installing them and just send them to me

Your credibilty is blown with your opening statement! The fastest bolt on LT 1 in GMHPP shoot out went to a car with shorties! They are easier to install, dont drag on speed bumps, a lot cheaper with out the added exhaust work and will produce as much horsepower. A set of long tubes, free flow cats and full cat back only produced 14 hp on the dyno.[/QUOTE]

Note: They weren't crap BBK shorties in GMHTP, either. Reread what I wrote

Re: What do you think about BBK cermaic caoted headers??

I gained .3 and 3mph with a set of bbk shorties, but I would never buy them again. The welds are very sloppy and the bolt holes did not line up properly with the cyl head. I also had to modify the egr tube to fit into the header. 6 months later I was happy with the power per dollar I gained, but I was so pi$$ed off at the install that I didn't want to even drive the car for 6 months.

Felpro 1406. I've used copper and they leaked.

I'm using Mr. Gasket Ultraseal's (very similar to 1406's) and they work great.

Re: What do you think about BBK cermaic caoted headers??

I had 1406's blow out on both sides on my 95 9C1 (police pckg) LT1 caprice. The material thats on the metal shim in the middle was blown off the gasket on one side. The other side the metal part was almost totally gone on 1/2 the gasket!!! I did drive on a leaky gasket for a month before fixing it though. HUGE power gains after that leak was fixed. You dont want any leaks before your O2 sensors. Personally im trying to decide between the MR Gaskets and some of the percys "dead soft" aluminums now. Speed INC. Told me theyve seen problems with the aluminums too though. I was never a big fan of MR Gasket but their the only ones i havnt heard bad stuff about as far as the LT1 yet. So that will probably be my choice.
