Just Bought some Headers Have some Questions... please!
Well i just purchased some Hooker Long Tube headers of a board member. I had some questions.
1. I know i will have to get a y pipe for the headers so what kind do i need. I am assuming the Hookers y-pipe is what i need, but is there any thing else besides header gaskets?
2. I know most people doing plugs and wires while there at it and have stuff taken apart. Can you suggest any brand ect?
3. I heard that some people go with an off road pipe then clamp it in and for emissions they can unclamp the off-road pipe and bolt a cat right back in right? Anyone have any information on this.
4. What about my o2's? What will i have to do with those?
5. Can someone give me a link to an install page on the web?
Thanks,
Brian

Re: Just Bought some Headers Have some Questions... please!
1.I asked a similar question about the y pipe in the general tech forum. You can get Fel Pro gaskets and stage 8 locking bolts.
2.Doing plugs and wires is a good idea since the access is there and its easier than having headers or manifolds on. Also get the over the valve cover look for your wires so they will "hopefully" not get melted by the headers.
3. Im actually going to do this and it is the best of both worlds. To have an off road pipe, but you can have the pleasure to pass emmisions with the cat on.
4. The headers should have O2 bungs in them. If they dont have them then you can get them put in. You can also get O2 extentions.
5. Cant answer this one.

I would suggest going to Thunder Racing and getting there OTVC kits that come with Taylor 8.5mm wires and get some NGK spark plugs. That's what I did.
And here's a install page http://theheadfl.com/jethotlt.htm
