While I don't think it's worth $20K+, $12,500 is a little low for a 30th SS with that few miles. Like I posted above, check autotrader.com doing a search with no distance limit and you'll find about 4 SS 30th cars for sale right now. All have more mileage than the one on Ebay, but are in the $16,500-$17,500 range. If It doesn't sell and you want to make him an offer he'll really consider, go with something like $16,500.

At the moment that car is not worth that much unless it had some serious options. Probably in a few years and if the miles stay down that much then it will be worth that much to a collector or just in general but not now....

I wouldn't pay the 14 grand that the bidding is at now. I'd buy an LT1 Vette if I was spending that much.

I agree with you. Thats why Im gonna offer the $12,500. If not Ill just wait to buy me a vette. I think even $16k is too much. I have to go with a LS1 for that much

If you don't need the backseat, definitely go with a Vette. I've had both f-bodies and Vettes, and the only reasons I have an f-body right now is:
1) I needed a backseat for our 2 girls
2) I always wanted an LT4 Firehawk, so when this one showed up an hour from my house I couldn't pass it up.

For a fun drivers car that is reasonably priced I'd say the C4 LT1/4 Vettes are about the best cars out there. The C5s are very nice, but they are a little too refined.

You DRIVE a LT4 firehawk daily?! If you do please find a beater. I just found a pickup Im gonna drive soon as I find me another low mileage Camaro to puck away. I drive my 30th right now daily but its no LT4 and I dont drive but 30 miles daily. Not too bad but thats still to much thats why I want to sell and get a low mileage one then I know I will park it.

What is the point of owning a car if you can't drive it and enjoy it. Do I drive it when it's really nasty out? No. Do I drive it everyday that it's nice? Yes, but then I just bought the car. I'll probably drive it on a regular basis for a couple of years, and then turn it into a weekend only car. We do have another car with backseats, but it got really tiring to have to drive the wifes car or drive two cars everytime we wanted to go somewhere as a family.

At this point I am keeping an eye open for a nice LT4 C4 Vette, and maybe an LS1 SS or Firehawk to replace the wife's RSX-S.

Besides, they'll have to pry my cold dead hands off the steering wheel before I sell this car.
