What brand of injectors?

I see a lot of guys recommend the 42 SVOs to me. I have seen another brand (delphi-something). Are there any that I should be wary of? Or are all pretty much acceptable?

Thanks, Mike.

There are only a few manufacturers.... most of the Ford stuff is made by Bosch (or Denso, under license to Bosch). "Delphi" is the new name for GM's Rochester Products (stock), Siemans and Lucas are the others. When you see Holley, MSD, etc.... they are just repackages from one of the above.

I have some 37lb injectors I bought 2 years ago and never used them. I am going to put them in my new stroker but can't find out what type they are. They look just like Holleys and stock ones except they have a serial number 17090304. The shop I bought them said they are either Delphi or Lucas (they sold both at the time.) They didn't sell them under a brand name. I need to find out the pressure they are rated at and the pintle design. Any ideas?

Go to corral.net in the classifieds in the fuel delivery section. You can get good, barely used injectors for next to nothing. I got some 30# Siemens for $110 shipped with 500 miles on them.

The JEG's catalog describes them as "Bosch-style pintle design".... good chance they are Bosch or Denso.

This page has a lot of photos that might allow oyu to match a manufacturer:

They look like Delphi (Rochester). I will try to email them and see what I come up with.
