How long (miles) have you guys been running these starter?

snksknr94,
That is one sweet ride you have there, Very Nicely done
Did anyone else have any problem with the Lt4 starter with Other LT headers (ie Hooker or Grotyohann)?

I have grotyohann LT headers thats why I ask.

Thanks,
Claude
Thanks for the compliments! I mentioned the clearance problems I had in another thread and several people with Hooker LT's said they had no problems, but not many people run the Grots so I can't be sure whether or not you'll have clearance issues. As for the Canton pan I'd assume it would fit, but again I'm not positive. Let me know when you figure it out, when I build my motor in the next few months I'll probably run the Canton pan.

I am using a CVR protorque... it's the same as the LT4 price-wise at 140 bucks. It sounds really cool too haha. Also, it is adjustable so you can rotate the body to clear headers and such which is also cool. Only problem I had was that it is kind of big so it would not fit through the small opening between the y pipe and the oil pan and the tranny so I had to take it dismantle it and reassemble it over the y pipe which was a PITA but it works fine =) That was with the stock dual cat y pipe. I know Injuneer fred among others is using this same starter.

I also have the CRV starter and it works (and sounds) great. I did have to cut a piece off of it to clear the stock oil pan, but other than that it works great.

I'm running Grots and the LT4 starter. The header rests right on the starter...been like that for 3 years, not one damn problem!
