What adaptor do i need to fit the shrader valve? I heard i could pick one up at napa pretty cheap.

Also, how do i remove the pin on the schrader valve? I heard i need to do this in order to get this to work.

Best setup:

Get an NOS #17535 -4AN 90-deg swivel fitting. That gets the connection turned 90-degrees, away from the cowl, and allows you to point the fitting in the direction you want without risking over-tightening it on the Schrader valve. The valve is only swaged onto the hard line, and will break off very easilly.

Figure out where you want to mount the pressure sending unit, away from vibration and heat. Get a -4AN braided SS hose, long enough to reach that location. Buy a hose with -4AN female on one end (attaches to the NOS fitting), and 1/8" NPT male on the other (they are available on eBay for low $$). Connect the NPT end of the hose to the 1/8" NPT threads on the sending unit with a brass coupling (1/8 x 1/8 NPT).

When you pressure the fuel system, loosen the threads at the coupling slightly (wrap it in a rag), to allow any air to escape, so the line fills with fuel.

Alternative approach.... drill a hole in your fuel rail, between injectors #4 and #6, weld in a 1/8" NPT aluminum bung, and screw the gauge directly into the rail.....

If you mean to mount it directly to the Schrader valve, then probably, but you really want to get that sending unit away from the heat and vibrations of the motor. This is why Injuneer recc'd to mount it with the hose remotely.

No that wont work.

You need this one. http://www.jegs.com/i/Earl%27s/361/923104/10002/-1

As stated you need a female -4AN (will have a swilleling nut on it) to a female 1/8" NPT.

So you'll need both the one I linked you to, and the coupler you linked to.

To remove the valve core you just need to unscrew it with one of these tools which can be bought anywhere (used for schrader valves on tires).
