Did they replace the pilot bushing? I'm pretty sure mine is a throwout bearing growling. (at least that's what I hope)

I was told they did. Guy at a local trans shop said he thought maybe it was input shaft making the noise. I am still awaiting the guy to return my email about getting the car back down there for the 4-5th time and HOPEFULLY he will do it right this time or refund my money. For the money I have been out for the rebuild plus numerous trips back and forth to the shop and his house (75ish miles one way) I could nearly have bought one by now.

I suppose it could be the input shaft bearing. That would be simple. Good luck on getting it fixed.

Thanks Lyle. The last time I took it to this guys house I think he replaced the input shaft bearing. I really have not gotten a straight answer on what he did yet lol.

I guess if I dont hear from him by tomorrow I can post on LS1 board cause I know he has been on there since I emailed him.

What kind of trany fluid are you guys using? I tried honda atf and after long trips and down shifting mine would make the same noise. I switched back to dextron III with no more noises.
