On 1.6 roller rockers (aluminum bodied type) the middle bearing where
the 3/8 studs slide through . There is a flat side and the other is round .
Which side goes on the stud face down ? I can get pics if needed thanks

 

The flat side faces up, that's where the poly lock rests. Read shoebox's site, I think he makes a note of it there.
