From: Hell was full so they sent me to NJ
I have a CVR ProTorque starter that cost about $150. JEG's now sells it under their brand name (PN 555-10001). It can be rotated to clear the exhaust or headers.

You could upgrade to an LT4 starter

That actually sounds like a real good idea, as far as for future upgrades I want to do if I ever end up getting to the fun stuff. And well I imagine since your putting it out there, its prob done you right. Im going to check that out, thanks Injuneer.

Im guessing this would have the same benefit as upgrading to an aftermarket? If that is true then I guess I will end up going with the cheaper of the two. Thanks razor for follow ups with me throughout. Ill be checking out my steering and all that if it doesnt add up to too much I may just change/upgrade those parts you spoke off (under the hood) end/mid of month coming.

Okay the update i installed the Jegs starter (Part # above in Injuneers post) Very nice piece, withstood being locked up twice after fresh install. (Engine did not want to turn over) So i turned engine with breaker bar (removed a spark plug from either side, nothing came out). Tried it again and it turned the engine over. Lots of water shot out from exhaust pipes (had got water into tail pipes during putting car on stands).

Did you figure out why the engine was locked? How does it run?.......

Haha yes it was me!! That face always cracks me up the "eek" face.

To be honest with you I have no idea why it was locked up, maybe to much exhaust pressure wouldnt let it breath (from the water in exhaust) Id say it shot out like at least 2.5 gallons man.

It ran rough for a little bit but the exhaust shop said it would till most the water evaporated out. After that it ran fine, it idled pretty good.

Its a work in progress so I mean it is what it is...
