Finally getting to install the walbro 340. The thing is I couldn't fix it in the bucket where the original pump was, suction size is different, the bucket doesn't close and theres no way to fit a clip around it. Has anybody istalled the pump without the bucket? What are the problems?

Its a noise shield,no problem if you leave it off,you may hear a little pump noise.(turn radio louder)
