I don't see anywhere on that log that says the fans were commanded to come on. Maybe someone else knows?

My LTerm Counts and STerm Counts were pink in the Datamaster display, that means I'm running rich?

I just checked a stock 95 LT1 TA PCM file, and the cooling fans are programmed to come on at 226*/238*.

So... my gauge is off? Because I was nearly in the orange with no fans.

I told you the temp on the other page. We all know how "out of whack" fbody gauges can be.

BUT, one fan should have been on, I think?

Ya I thought at least one fan should be on and by the time it hits orange both should definitely be on. Shoebox? Injuneer?

One fan should come on about 224, the other should come on about 235. Post the actual datamaster log it can show you when things are commanded on or off along with other parameters, the csv will not display that information.

For those worried about access to datamaster you can download and install datamaster and read logs to your hearts content without paying a dime, the trial only limits how many recording sessions you can have not how many logs you can read.

Download the lt1 edit trial software and pull your tune off with that it will let you read but not write to your pcm. Post your tune up on here and we'll see exactly whent hey should be commanded on. Is it a stock tune? and is the car stock for that matter?

On another note is the car new to you or have you done work on it recently with the cooling system? Just trying to figure out if this has always been an issue or ?

Bought the car this past summer and is stock to my knowledge when I get a chance tonight I will try the trial tune software. I can't find the LT1-Edit trial download, link anyone?

Sorry I got crossed up, its not tuning software but it will let you download your current tune.

Post the real datamaster uni file for the most recent csv.

Did the car do this from the start or is this a new thing?

Alright I have got both a .csv version and a zipped .uni version.

To look at the .uni version:
- Unzip the file using WinRAR or WinZip
- Open Datamaster
- In Datamaster - File - Playback Datamaster File - Open UNZIPPED file and voila!

OK, my mistake I was looking at the PCM file wrong. Your primary cooling fan should come on around 226* and the secondary fan at 238*.

You're right, I was confused. The primary fan activated at 107.75C. Have you checked the fan's relays?

Also, since you already have the ALDL communication cable. You should download the trial version of TunerCat, and lower your fan temps. I have my stock 95 TA reprogrammed to activate at 199* and 208*.
