vette servo

will putting a vette servo in a 4l60e help it shift more easily into OD? the problem is that the car shifts fine into 1st 2nd 3rd, but it has trouble shifting into OD.

thanks.

Your car already has a Vette servo. Most factory 700/4L60E transmissions shift into 4th pretty lazy. Sonnax makes a large diameter 4th servo that will help the shift quality. As a side benefit, it also adds holding power, which will help the 2-4 band life.
When I build performance 700/4L60E's, I also block the 4th accumulator piston in the case, which helps firm up the 3-4 shift.
