You appear to have a variable voltage on the two signal wires. Odd though that you don't have anything on the 631/red wire. That's the 12V power supply to the Opti optical module. It wouldn't be putting out a variable voltage on the 430/purple-white or the 453/red-black if it wasn't getting 12V from the red wire.

632/pink-black is the ground, so "0" on that wire is normal.
thanks for reply as i remember last night it was o volts on the other two i will check again tonight to verify definitly doesnt make sense not to have power going in but coming out also i have paper clips between the 2 pigtails and thats how im getting my reading so may not b 100% acurate but ill check again

Re: Very Very Frusterated with my car

So the problem started after you changed out the plugs and wires?

Honestly this exact same thing happened to me, unless you are 100% positive its not the plugs or wires then recheck them again. I have changed plugs and wires on an LT1 many times and thought I had it down. I came here looking for answers on a issue that I tracked for a couple of months, I finally broke down and took it to a known LT1 mechanic in my area and BAM! One of my plug wires had a tiny crack that couldn't be seen arcing or felt, I felt so stupid when he called me and told me he replaced 1 wire and it runs like a champ.

Seriously check out the easy things first, I made big mistakes and one then just kept taking me to the next.

O and by the way, mine started happening about a week after I changed the plugs and wires making it worse as to no thought for being something I did.

Do you need an extra hand to fix it? I am willing to help you.
