Various Valvetrain questions
Hey guys,
I just got some various questions about a valvetrain setup I'm leaning towards going with. I was thinking of going with the CC306 with 1.5 RR NSA. I have a set of mildly worked heads. They are setup with the cc986 double spring. Will this spring be enough to handle this cam? Or should I step up to a 918 or 987 spring and go with a 1.6 RR? Is there any significant power gains to be had with a 1.6 RR? Would it be anymore streetable on a 1.5 RR? Also, how does this cam react with n2o? I am planning on setting my car up for more or a road course type car, but still be able to take it down the 1320 with good results. I plan to shift at 6300-6400 RPM. I will have 3.73 gears and a 3400rpm stall. Plus a PCM tune from PCMforless.com Will this work well for what I plan on doing? I also hope to break into the 11's under the laughing gas.
Thanks a lot for any useful info/tips. I greatly appreciate it fellas!
