The 918 beehives are supposed to be good springs and can handle much more abuse than the 224/230 can give them.

On a daily driver setup what better options are there?

What are the limits in ability of the SA Comp Pro Magnum Roller Rockers Handle? Is it also true you need machine work for NSA roller rockers to work?

No machine work for the NSA's but ya do need GM guideplates and hardened pushrods.
A '94 should have hardened pushrods if it's stock.
Ya don't need 7/16 studs with the beehives unless that's what fit the rockers.
The Pro Mags will handle a hell of a lot more than you are fixing to give them.

So with the XE 224/230 cam the 1.6 Self Aligning Pro Magnum Roller Rockers will be more then fine? That is what I currently have, they are not installed, after reading alot of posts people act like they are not worth a crap and to get NSA.

I won't say they are no good, they shouldn't be run with a performance cam IMO.
There are some that run them but I haven't got that brave yet. 40 years of using RR with guide plates or shaft rockers spoil's one as to not having any problems.

Re: Which valvetrain setup

In the prices I listed Im getting basically complete kits for that. So even though I have hardened pushrods Im getting another set. Since comp pro mags are like 240-300 depending on where you get them the package deal is pretty sweet. Basically for the valvetrain all I need now is to get a cam and that will be done. phewwwww.

Now on to the complete fuel system, complete drivetrain, timing conversion, body restoration, and slicks.

if you're using beehives you're gonna have to ditch the SA rockers. because if you get a proper installed height (+.050 locks) there aint gonna be enough valve stickin up out of the retainer for them to stay on and if a rocker jumps off and gets bound with another one you're gonna have some pieces to replace.
