Using a PCM program downloaded from another

I'm assuming it's ok, but though I would double check here:

Are there any problems with reading teh PCM from one car and downloading it to another. Both are from 1994 Z28s (M6), only one is bone stock (still in a Z28) and the other has been 'tinkered with' and is in a 240Z. The stumble problem I have with the 240Z is making me scratch my head a bit, so I though I would try this....

Shouldn't be a problem. Not really any different than modifying your own bin or flashing to an aftermarket tune.

Just tune the 240z lt1 PCM in your 94 Z28?

I just can't see that this low RPM stumble is a PCM tune issue....I mean it's not like a 4 barrel double pumper...the PCM ca't just lose it's tune.
I just want to check that I haven't screwed something up while screwing around in TunerCat.
I guess I could just use the 'compare' function in TunerCat with the two programs....

I also am going to install the new 30lb injectors (with PCM change of course), do a compression test, and replace the fuel pump...after that EVERY component will have been changed, or tested......IF that doesn't work...out comes the LT1 and in goes a twin turbo 4 bolt with Tek 3!!!!!
