I'm going to have to look for my receipt for the DFI.

I purchased it with the LT1 harness and the nitrous harness.

The install wasn't cheap either.

If the heads are flowing the numbers, couldn't the LT4 manifold be the restriction?

YES!!!! THE LT4 Manifold is VERY VERY SMALL UNPORTED!!!!! I saw mine and I was totally dissapointed... I suggest before removing the heads, send the manifold to phil @ ai.

ChevyIron,
The Vette Doctors did the install and tuning. They're installing one on a low 9, high 8 second vette right now. Does the 97 Camaro have OBD II, you should give them a shot tuning it before the dfi.

Highlander,
What exactly is done to the manifold? Can the same thing be done to an LT1 manifold (I have an extra)..

Thanks
Jim

If you have lt4 heads the lt1 wont fit correctly w/o spacers and such...

Gen VII is typically 1500 w/o WB02 for the LTx harness included.. W/ wb02 its 2300-2500 depending on where you get it.. The actual install is quite straight forward the stock pcm harness unplug's just inside the passenger side fenderwell.. Its a lil bit in depth but if you have time you can do it yourself. You can keep your speedo if you keep the stock pcm and just splice it somehow.. www.fasttrackperformance.com i believe they are pretty good w/ these system's..
