my 97z vs 2003 vett who would win

I have a 97 Z-28 Heritage Addition (white w/ orange stripes) Camaro 6speed with some mods.
Borla cat back, bbk headers, k&n fipk, tpis airfoil, descreened maf, 1.52 rollertip rockers, performance springs, cc305 cam, mac o2 sims, hurst comp. shifter, lakewood action traction bars, lakewood adj. panhard rod, underdrive crank pulley, accel 300+ wires, well im pretty sure thats the most of it that ive added for performance.
What I want to ask is will my Camaro with all those mods beat my uncles stodck 2003 vett thats an auto. thanks for your opinion.

I think it will be pretty close. If the Vette has traction control, he'll probably get you off the line and hold you off. If not, then it's whoever drives better.

T/C and 350hp for the vette. Do you have gears? If you had 4:10's I'd say you'd beat him.

Can you beat an LS1 F-Body right now? If so, then yes, you'll take the Vette.

It'll be close but with good driving, I'd give the edge to your uncle's Vette. JMHO though.

If your running good you should be somewhere in the high 12's....the auto vette probably runs somewhere in the low low 13's....keep the race short cause he still probably pass by you at higher speeds.

The fast vette's I have seen are the manuals. The automatics at my local track run high 13's@100.

If your car is running right, you should spank him IMO.

If he leaves traction control on he will likely loose. You race autos with trac control off.You might also spin too much and loose.Lots of things happen on the street.I would think you have around 375 to 400 engine hp.Not sure if I saw headers in there if not then more like 375 engine. The vettes are a bit lighter think around 3300 for verts. So should be close I think but yeah think you will have him by a couple of lenghts and some of the vettes have 2.73 gears..they suck for 1/4 mile.

Let us know what happens.I have an auto vette I want to try with my 96 vert .Its hit high 13s with current mods.Only mods done to it are tb bypass,160stat,hpp tuning out,gms maf, cold air,airfoil,1le bellows, holley filter.Yours has more mods.Auto vette is stock but he just bought a blackwing induction think that takes it to 375 hp.So he will likely beat me.But then I go home and get he 450 engine hp ls1.Autos lose a bit thru the drivetrain too that evens it out a bit if you have a 6 speed.Good luck..

stock LS1 vette = 320 to 325rwhp, i.e. not an easy car to beat with a mildly modded f-body.

They are faster than the LS1 f-bodies, being able to beat one of those does not guarantee a victory against the vette.

If you two had the same transmissions, you would need about 25HP more than the vette to beat him.

I have seen numerous automatic LS1's put down like 270-280 rwhp....geared very poorly for drag racing.

That must be one sh!tty track you got there, you talked about LS1's running LT1 times there a few years back...here the a4 c5's run in the 13.3 n lower area...The design of the engine will put the C5 ahead at higher speeds...1/4 mile wise the LT1 might edge it out..MIGHT!
