hey when u turn key on before u start engine u should here fuel pump right, car wont start but turns over fine and i thought i used to be able to hear the pump but now i cant , so are u supposed to hear it at first....... thanks

 

Yes, you should here a low humming noise for a few seconds.

 

Yep, you should hear the pump as long as the key is turned to on. I can hear mine even when the car is running.
