Two different plug wires how bad.

I have long tubes and burnt 3 of my Taylor 8.0 wires. How bad is it for my car to have 3 msd 8.5 wires? I'm going to get OVC wires soon.

It shouldnt hurt it, but the car will run more efficient if all the cyl's get an equal spark.
If not then it will *probably* run a little richer.

Yeah, I bought Magnecor KV-85 wires, and the #2 wire didn't engage properly at the opti.

I used the old stock wire, since I wanted to get the car back on the road, and didn't have any problems.
