turns but wont fire!!

ok, ive been to shoebox's web site (very helpful) and did some wire shooting. first off, 93 camaro Z28 LT1. will turns but doesnt fire. all dash lights come on as usual, i hear fuel pump prime, battery has good charge. battery is new and has like 650 cranking. car has always been a little stubborn when starting but always starts. until this morning. i tested my coil with meter, got 7.72K on all four....coil looks stock so not sure if thats ok. i then moved on to Opti spark test on shoebox web page. A to ground and D to ground gave me very low voltage but there was voltage. no idea where to go from here. any help would be appreciated!!

Have you checked the fuel pressure?

Have you scanned it for codes?

You can do 2 things. If it has a complete loss of pressure you can simply relieve the pressure in the fuel rail at the schrader valve by depressing it. See here:fuel schrader valve

Then cycle the ignition switch on for 5 seconds and off for 5 then on for 5 and off for 5. Do this about 5 or 6 times. Then depress the schrader valve again and see if has rebuilt up pressure. If it did not, you know the fuel pump has not turned on for what ever reason.

However if it did build pressure back up, you must put a gage on the schrader valve.

A and D at the ICM connector should have battery voltage when you check them (flow charts say at least 10v). If not, check voltage at the pink wire going into the coil. This wire provides the voltage to A and D after passing through the coil (93 schematic).

The 93s shrader valve will be in in the front, because the fuel pipes are different on a 93. The only way to prove good pressure is with a test gauge.

i shot the ICM wires, voltage was good. got just over 11volts on both A and D. i also checked fuel pressure at the valve. depressed it and nothing....so i cycled the ignition 6 times and still nothing. this mean fuel pump is bad??

Look here:

See that little white wire with a open connector? That is used to prime the fuel pump, take a small jumper wire and run it from the + side of the battery up to that wire. Have someone check and listen for the fuel pump, or check the fuel rail. If you hear nothing or get no pressure your pump is dead. If the pump turns on, then you have a bad relay.
