lt1 rebuild opinions

I finially got my 93 z28 running after what seemed forever. But now i've decided to rebuild my old engine for a lil more power. these are what im planning on doing and was hoping you guys can tell me if its the best route, how it will run, and if i need anything esle. thanks for all help.

bore block 30 over
rebuild kit CSMHP766-300 or CSMHP765-300 from summit?? not which one to use
cc305- i know im using this
1.6 roller rockers
pushrods?
long tube headers
chip
LE1 heads-im not really sure about heads. it will take most of my budget on the above so probably will use stock heads with springs to match cam if i run out of money

i went .030 bore and .01/.01 on my crank. i used summit CSMHP766-311
if you dont need to grind your crank use csmhp766-300

the kit has coated speedpro forged pistons with fel-pro gaskets, speed-pro rings, pioneer freezeplugs... pretty nice kit

when you assemble the engine use victor reinz 5898 head gaskets their thinner and will bump your compression up a little..

i'm reusing using stock pushrods and lifters..

i'm going to convert to an electric waterpump when i assemble my engine, so i got a double roller chain also..

dont forget you have to have your rotating assembly rebalanced, use a neutral balance flexplate or remove the weight from your stock flexplate..

i used the lt4 hotcam with springs, locks, and retainers got it for $200 new in box, couldnt pass it up..

i'm deleteing air and egr at assembly

i'm going to use pcmforless for my retune

Does it need to be rebuilt? If not, just do the heads and cam.

yea it needs to be rebuilt because its been sitting for a while outside. i got a guy going to help me put it together once i get all the parts and the block ready. but how can i tell if i need to grind the crank? the engine ran and wasn't knocking or anything when i replaced it, but it had something go wrong with the valves and was skipping and stalling out.

I would take the crank to a machine shop and get it checked..if it doesn't need to be cut to .10 you can simply have it polished that's what I did and only paid $20.00 to have it done.
