tunning questions

To start, i have a 93 so i am kinda in a bind for trying to tune myself. I am putting my car back together for summer. I will be using a .510/.525(1.5rocker) 232/242 110lsa lunati. The last two times i have attempted to use that cam on stock tunning and pcmforless tunning i have had a serious problem with running pig rich. I am talking in the area of 2-3 miles to the galon. A little more backround on the problem. The car will not idle on its own when i start it, if i hold the throtle half way open it will stay running but so rich your eyes burn, then all of a sudden the rpm's take off after about 45 seconds to a min and i can let of the gas and it will idle just fine. But it will only idle fine until the stupid single wire o2's cool back off, then it will choke itself with fuel and cut out. I have mannage to fould out a set of plugs in about 30-40 miles. One idea that i had was to conver to 3 wire heated o2 sensors, will this help. And aslo How can i go about getting this car dyno tuned, sense it has the chip and all? Also, is there anyway when i get it tuned to make it run less rich when the computer is controling the fuel by the preset peramiters until the 02 sensores heat up? And one last question, i can't keep this straight, open loop and closed loop, which one is you car running in when it is running off of the signal from the o2, sensors? Thank you for the help. I am sorry if this does not belong in the advanced forum, but to me it seams like it would due to the tunning factor.

Generation specific questions should be posted in the appropriate "tech" forum, in this case "LT1 Tech". Or you might also want to try the "Computer...." forum.

Moving to LT1 Tech.......
