Question How To Polish Alum. Wheels To High Shine???????

I saw a few pix of this being done and i know there is process that they use and it take alot of time, which i have, but was curios if anyone knew how to do it thanx...

Arg, that link won't work. Just go to www.eastwoodco.com and do a search for "Mag Wheels" they sell a kit with the buffing compounds and buffs needed to do the job.

Thanx for the link but i searched for Mag Wheels and it only gave me choices of like sockets and stuff but i am looking on the web site for that kit thanx guy..

First time in this forum for me. I am curious about what you guys are talking about here. Are you saying that you are sanding off the clear coat and the paint on the alluminum wheels then buffing them till they look like chrome wheels? I have thought about this but wondered if after you polish do you still have to have the wheels chrome plated? Or can you get away with clear coating them. I have no money for paying someone to do this but if I could do the work and have someone paint it with a good 2 part clear I might consider it.
