My heater went out for like two days and now all of a sudden it is working again. Then today i go to start my car up and it sort of sputters and sits at 500 RPMs for a second then jumps up to 1500 and sits there for maybe 5 seconds while slowly making it down to 1000 RPMs.....


....any idea whats goin on?


Also...my clutch seems to be squeekin/scratchin a little bit and when i turn off my car after the motor shuts down i hear a sputter...like a belt slowly stopping but i dont think its a belt

...any idea?

are you low on coolant at all?
Maybe that caused your heater to quit working, if so, and it's dripping out the water pump weep hole opti could be your problem, but all and all you've got me stumped.

Good luck, and this will at least be a ttt for you. Maybe someone else has had a similar problem.
